All you need is 500g of scone mix, 205ml water and milk or beaten egg to glaze. Heat the oven to 220°C, (430°F) or gas mark 7. Pour the scone mix into a bowl and add the water. Using a wooden spoon, mix together to form a dough - work the Scone mix fairly quickly, do not over mix it as it may toughen the dough.
