Vintage wooden Scottish shortbread mould featuring a traditional carved thistle design. The circular mould has a central Scottish thistle surrounded by a carved pointed border. Traditionally used for pressing decorative designs into shortbread dough before baking. Approximate diameter: 13cm No maker's mark found. Good vintage condition with light marks and wear consistent with age and previous use. The carving remains clear and attractive.
