This is a vintage Ekco chromium-plated dough blender, marked “Chromium Plated Ekco U.S.A.” with the full instructional text “Dough Blender to Blend Flour with Shortening” and patent numbers 1486255, 1545062, and 1724356 stamped into the top of the handle mount. The stamp is fully legible, which is a nice detail for display or use. Condition: the chrome is clean and bright throughout with no rust, and all five tines are straight and evenly spaced with no bends or damage. The black handle shows normal age wear but is solid and securely riveted. This piece is fully functional as a pastry/dough blender.
