Sahnesteif cream stiffener is a tried-and-tested helper in traditional cake preparation for many years. It keeps whipped cream stiff and prevents cake bases from becoming soggy quickly. High-quality cream cakes get an even better look and consistency. Sahnesteif is sprinkled into the cream while it is being whipped. The content of one sachet is sufficient for 0.2 - 0.25 litres of cream. INSTRUCTIONS 1. Whip 200 - 250g of cold double cream in a mixing jug using a hand mixer (with beaters) briefly. 2. Mix Sahnesteif with (vanilla) sugar to taste, sprinkling it in while constantly beating. 3. Continue whipping the cream until it reaches your desired consistency, then refrigerate until serving. It will remain firm for several hours.
