Make delicious scones quickly and easily.The perfect cake mix to have handy in the cupboard ready to bake and to serve with a cup of tea, or to share with friends and family.Simply add water and mix, instructions included.Available in 1kg.Instructions:Preheat the oven to 200°C.Pour the scone mix into a large bowl and add 445ml of water.Stir by hand to create a soft dough, adding 140g of fruit if desired.Allow the dough to rest for 5 minutes.Turn on to a floured work surface and roll out to approximately 2cm thick.Cut out the required shapes and place them on a greased baking tray.Brush the top of the scones with a beaten egg and allow to rest for 15-20 minutes.Apply a further egg wash and bake at 200°C, checking every 10 minutes until well risen and golden.
