In such a vibrant, striking red colourway, these mechanical scales are a real interior decorators' piece. The scales date from the early 20th century and were made in Birmingham by Frederick Hill and Co. Sometimes called "Viking Scales" they were made to endure using cast iron and brass. All weights and brass dish as seen in the images are included. Weights: 2lb, 1lb, 8oz, 4oz, 1oz and ½oz. The larger weights are cast iron and the smallest are brass.
